The dual Z-axis is similar to the dual cutting heads in allowing to cut larger quantity of relatively small items at a fast rate, however, the dual Z-axis provides room for flexibility.
The two cutting heads are mounted on separately independent Z-axis allowing for the use of one cutting head while parking the other and for widening the distance between the two heads.
